Connect your AI agent to social media

Your assistant already writes the posts. Hey Tasky gives it a real calendar: connect it once and it can draft, schedule, and check posts on every account in your workspace, from one chat.

Why Hey Tasky

One connection, every network.

Your agent talks to one server instead of a separate integration per network.
Ask for a draft and it waits in Hey Tasky for you to read, edit, and schedule.
Scheduled posts publish on time even when your chat is closed, and the agent can check what went out and how it did.
Accounts connect through each network's official connection flow. Your agent never sees a social password.
Not yet

Agents that can't connect today.

These assistants don't accept custom tool servers right now. We'll add a guide when that changes.

Instinct (Spear Street Technology): invite-only, and there is no documented way to add your own tools or MCP servers yet.
dots (OpenAI): a dot uses the plugins on your ChatGPT account, but OpenAI hasn't said whether custom MCP plugins like Hey Tasky are supported. Use ChatGPT directly for now.
Gemini app (Google): custom apps only run inside Gemini Spark, for eligible US accounts. Gemini CLI works for everyone.
Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft): the consumer app has no documented way to add an MCP server. Copilot Studio makers can add one to a custom agent.
Dot (New Computer): shut down in October 2025.
FAQ

Questions about AI agents and social posting

What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets an AI assistant call tools on another service. Hey Tasky runs an MCP server, so any assistant that supports custom MCP servers can work with your social calendar.

Do I need to write code?

No. Most assistants take a server URL in their settings and open a Hey Tasky sign-in window. Developer tools use one command or a few lines of config, which each guide shows.

Can my agent post without asking me?

Only if you ask it to schedule. A draft request saves the post in Hey Tasky for you to review. A schedule request publishes automatically at the time you set, so check the text, account, and time first.

Which social networks can my agent post to?

Any account you have connected in Hey Tasky, such as X, LinkedIn, Bluesky, and Mastodon. The agent asks Hey Tasky for your connected accounts before posting, so it can only use accounts you added.

Does the agent get my social media passwords?

No. You connect social accounts inside Hey Tasky. The agent gets a Hey Tasky sign-in or API key scoped to your workspace, which you can revoke at any time.

Can I connect more than one agent?

Yes. Each assistant signs in separately, so you can use ChatGPT on your phone and Claude at your desk against the same calendar.
